Hooked on Sonics

Music will put you in a time and place you haven't visited in a long time. It will set a mood in a room upon hearing first notes. It will make people laugh, cry, dance or shout. It will move throughout your whole body motivating you to get up and go. It will inspire and delegate your style. It changes with the environment, with political change and social consciousness. If there is any connection between all of us it's music. I have not met one person in my life who doesn't like some music in one form or another and if there is anything that can make me scream at the top of my lungs in a car at 3am, it's just that...to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.

Some crazy people over at mediumrare.com decided I would be host of my own radio show. Oof! So, every Thursday night from 8-10pm EST, I broadcast live from the batcave in RVA. I play a myriad of tunes which include indie, alternative, pop, rock, punk, industrial, goth and whatever my mood seems to be that day. The show will evenutally get some on air guests as well in promotion of Anti-Mag and who knows what other subjects may be stumbled upon. You may be asking yourself, "Now how do I hear such ear candy" Well it is quite easy if you'll just follow these very simple directions:

1. Open iTunes
2. Click the Advanced tab
3. Scoll down to Open Audio Stream
4. Click the Advanced tab
5. You will then paste this number: 209.217.125.132:8052
6. Click OK

Your stream should now begin. If you do NOT have iTunes you can go directly to the site and the player should be right there.
Now for the rules:

1. There are some explicit lyrics in some of the songs I play, at times I may drop some French and with that in mind, please be aware if you have children that need earmuffs.
2. Unless you and I have a working talking relationship, please do not ask me to promote you.
3. There are other people's shows you should check out on mediumrare.com. I encourage this fully as they all have great music on their shows. You can go to the site to see the schedule.
